The 1932 Projects Foundation (1932PF) was established in August 2022 to continue the scholarship programs for Brian Keith Greene (BKG) and Te-Andre Anthony Brown (TAB). In addition to being a scholarship program, the current mission statement of 1932PF also includes providing information on financial literacy, mental and physical health and family relationships to underserved communities. The initial organization set up to oversee the process in providing these scholarships was called the Brian Keith Greene (BKG) and Majestic Transitioners (MT) Foundation, BKG&MT Foundation. The BKG&MT Foundation established in July of 2019, was an IRS 501(c) (3) certified organization. Due to a lack of member participation, disagreement over the mission and vision statements as it related to fundraising and marketing, the organization voted to disband in March 2022.

A business account was established at Wells Fargo in September of 2022 and two scholarships were awarded during the State of the Chapter meeting in October 2022 centered around FAMU Homecoming. The BKG Scholarship in the amount of $1000 was awarded to BN Brother, Dylan Kyle. The TAB Scholarship in the amount of $1000 was awarded to FAMU student, Rahajade Anderson.   

In total, 6 scholarships have been awarded from 2018-2021 under the umbrella of BKG&MT Foundation. Five BKG Scholarships totaling $5500 awarded to BN Brothers, Marquis Bent, Brandon Graham, Braxton McMillon, Damari Massey, and Dacari Taylor. One TAB Scholarship in the amount of $1000 awarded to FAMU student, Destiny Footman.

This year we will be adding two more scholarships for a total of 4 scholarships to the 1932 Projects Foundation platform. One of the added scholarships will be in the name of Brother Jeffrey Alan Lamar (JAL), Spring 1979, Apocalyptic Knights. The scholarship will be targeted for incoming freshman with high academics and achievements. Minimum scholarship amount is $1000. The second scholarship criteria is being established with a completion date set for next week.
