When can I begin the scholarship application process?

The application process for all students opens up in the month of August. Please see the applicable scholarship overview for exact dates.

When is the deadline for the scholarship application?

The scholarship application submission deadline for all students is in the month of October. Please see the applicable scholarship overview for exact dates.

Who is eligible to apply for scholarships?

Members of the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., Florida A & M Undergraduate Students and High School Students that have been accepted to the University.

 
When and where will the scholarships be awarded?
The scholarships will be granted during Home Coming (In October of each year) with the location TBD. 

Scholarship Donors

Does my donation have to go towards a Florida A&M University student scholarship?

Yes! Recipients of the scholarship must attend Florida A&M University.

How is the scholarship given to the student?

The scholarship will be awarded directly to the students.

How many scholarships has the 1932 Projects Foundation awarded so far?

Since our inception in 2015, our foundations have awarded 20 scholarships to deserving scholars totaling $20,500. Recipients are members of the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. and Florida A&M University students.

Note: Totals include scholarships presented from the Brian Keith Green and Majestic Transitioner’s Foundation, the Beta Nu Foundation and the 1932 Projects Foundation.

Is my scholarship donation tax-deductible?

Yes!
